My weakness: motivation to push myself harder. On my workout days I exercise hard, but only to a limit. I rarely push myself past my set plan, even when I have the time to do so.
What keeps me motivated: mental and physical well-being. I know how I will feel if I don’t work out. Working out clears my head and helps keep me focused. I work out for me, because I know that by staying mentally and physically fit, I will be a better person at work and at home.
Working Out Sucks, but: feeling physically weak sucks more. Feeling mentally weak sucks more. Being in a fog sucks more. Not fitting comfortably into my jeans sucks more. Not having energy sucks more. Not getting a good night’s sleep sucks more. Not being a part of the workout crowd sucks more.
I feel best when: I have finished a good, hard workout.
If I could tell the world one thing about exercise and fitness it would be: always get back on track. We all have days when we are too busy to workout, don’t feel like working out, or find it inconvenient. It’s okay to miss a day or a week, but always be sure to get back on track.
The hardest thing I have ever had to overcome in my life: was learning to deal with loss. We all know it is difficult to lose people (or even animals) that we love. The best way to move on is to make sure that we are taking care of ourselves mentally and physically. I can’t think of a better way to do that than by maintaining a healthy lifestyle. When we are happy and healthy, those around us also enjoy the benefits.
