My biggest weakness is: myself. I have been through a lot in my life. I know that if I want something to change, only I can make it happen. If I can’t find a way it is because I don’t want it bad enough.
What keeps me motivated: surrounding myself with goal-oriented, positive people. I love healthy competition, and I am not afraid to push others to their highest potential. People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.
Working Out Sucks, but: not reaching your goal and having to do it all over again sucks more! If you hate starting over, don’t quit.
I feel my best when: I have reached a goal that I have set for myself or have helped someone else reach their own personal goal. Nothing feels better than accomplishing something you’ve pushed for day after day.
If I could tell the world one thing about exercise and fitness: it would be that you only regret the workouts you don’t do. No matter how slow you move, you are still lapping everyone sitting on the couch!
The hardest thing I have ever had to overcome in life: was losing my dad to ALS, and letting go of my health. I used my father’s death as an excuse to put my health on the backburner, and gained weight as a result. It was one of the biggest disappointments I have ever experienced. I now understand that excuses are for people who don’t want something bad enough.
